Anna’s success has caught a collector’s eye.

About the book

Anna’s modelling career is finally taking off. Her latest lingerie campaign has put her face and body in front of a huge audience, bringing attention, opportunity and the kind of recognition she has worked hard to earn.

It also brings Daisy.

Beautiful, seductive and disturbingly well informed, Daisy is not simply another admirer. She is a collector, accustomed to taking what fascinates her and moving on once the prize belongs to her. Anna may be attracted to her, but she is also entering a world Daisy understands far better than she does.

On the Road turns Anna’s success into the doorway for something far more dangerous, as celebration gives way to seduction, isolation and the growing realisation that Daisy intends to make Anna her next possession.

Character, pressure and choice

The tension at the centre

Anna is not alone when Daisy begins closing the trap. She is surrounded by friends, family and the boyfriend she loves, yet Daisy’s tricks, confidence and supernatural influence gradually separate her from all of them without anybody understanding what is happening.

By the time Anna realises what Daisy has planned, safety is still tantalisingly close. Her boyfriend is barely a hundred feet away, but Daisy’s mysterious trailer might as well be another world. Anna has to work out what Daisy is, what she wants and whether there is still a way back before attraction becomes captivity.

At the centre

Two extraordinary women. One collector.

Beauty and resistance

Anna

A successful young lingerie model with the kind of figure that turns heads wherever she goes, Anna is driven, kind and deeply in love. Her growing career has taught her how to handle attention, but nothing prepares her for Daisy, or for discovering that being desired can become genuinely dangerous.

Appetite and possession

Daisy

Curvaceous, magnetic and carrying the bratty confidence of someone who expects the world to indulge her, Daisy hides something far more unsettling beneath the surface. She has crossed continents to collect what she wants before, and once Anna catches her attention, distance, consent and ordinary rules become little more than inconveniences.

Why read On the Road?

For a seductive supernatural chase where the woman Anna wants to understand is also the one she desperately needs to escape.

On the Road follows Anna from initial fascination into a trap built by a practised collector. Daisy isolates, teases and overwhelms her before drawing her into a mysterious trailer where attraction and danger become impossible to separate. The tension comes from watching Anna fight to get back to the life waiting only a short distance away.
